Custom Home Watercolor
Are you looking for a way to preserve the memory of your home? What better way than a commissioned painting? They also make great house warming, realtor, birthday, anniversary or 'just because' gifts.
8x10 paintings are on acid free 140 lb paper to last a lifetime. Different sizes are available upon request.
How to:
1. Pictures are EXTREMELY important since it's likely I have never seen your home. I paint exactly from the pictures you send so send one that includes the whole house with your desired perspective. If you can include close up pictures with detail (front doors, especially), that will keep me from asking as many detail questions! Email the photos to: shelleyhodgesart@hotmail.com.
2. If you want a name or date on the bottom, let me know in the instructions. Examples: Established 2010, The Hodges, Home Sweet Home, Our First Home
3. Telephone poles, mailboxes, etc can be omitted. Just be sure to let me know if you have preferences.
5. I will send you updates after the house is sketched along with the final picture before the painting is shipped!
Note: Pets can easily be included for $10 additional charge. Just be sure to send their pictures when you send the house.
Price is $90. House with pet(s) in front is $100.

Turn around time varies. I like to give myself plenty of time for reworks or if I am not pleased with the finished product. Expect about a month until arrival.
